For this place-based branding project for ENC3252, chose to showcase Southwest Gainesville, my home and the heart of a uniquely vibrant, multicultural, community that is often not seen as walkable, to those who don’t live in the area, but my aim was to change that perception.
This online digital guide explores sustainable living in a corner of Gainesville often overlooked—SW Gainesville. It highlights local businesses, dining, nature spots, walkable living, and the sense of community that thrives here.
I used a combination of storytelling, user experience strategy, and visual design to create a sense of place. With an emphasis on diversity, sustainability, and accessibility, I aimed to invite users to see themselves belonging here. This project showcases my deep love for culture, community, and compelling, human-centered branding.
